my life question: what is your philosophy on life?

y'know, i was in bio class one day, and i was getting really bored, so i drifted off and actually came up with the very MEANING of life...

it dawned on me that i was really tired, and how much i'd like to goto sleep, and that at the end of the day, i always goto sleep... and how much i enjoy going to sleep... and how, even when life really really sucks... sleep always rocks... and dreams always work out better than life... what if you don't goto sleep so you can have energy for your day, but you go through your day to expell enough energy to sleep? ponder THAT young grasshopper....

when i'm not sleeping, however, i generally try to go by two quotes. one being that lifes troubles are not to paralyze you, but rather to help you to discover what kind of person you really are. i forget who said it, though. the other is by elie wiesel, and i don't remember it exactly off hand, but it went something to the effect of "Take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented."-Elie Wiesel". and know that nothing happens without a reason.

as for the eye, monkeygirl, i'll just say this. i mangled my eye when i was younger, about 12. a thorn on a tree branch whipped back and nailed me in the eye, going all the way through. surgery twice, couldn't see out of it for awhile... i have an artificial lense in it now, and occasionally it reflects light, and my eye will shine. this attracts the attention of the ladies... and once i met a ladie who also injured her eye, and that stirred conversation, and well... :brow: ...sides, i bet after you got kicked there once, you didn't let it happen again, eh? always something to be learned....

"I hear you can kill 200 men and play a mean six string at the same time..."-Six String Samurai

Be honest in all things.

Train like your life depends on it....Because it does.
