Sasori_Te Posted September 17, 2004 Posted September 17, 2004 Hello folks. I was just surfing and found the best Book/Video/DVD site that I've found to date. The link is https://www.yamazato-videos.com . All karate stylists should check this site. It has some stuff there that I haven't seen anywhere else. Let me know what you think. A block is a strike is a lock is a throw.
cross Posted September 17, 2004 Posted September 17, 2004 Thanks for the link, some of the articles were a good read.
P.A.L Posted September 19, 2004 Posted September 19, 2004 their video price is $10 less than tsunami but quality is way lower, I’ve bought 3 items, one was a bo kata which was working on some drives hardly and was not injected CD ,it was a burned CD. One shorin ryu kata which was filemed from front view only I enjoyed the katas which I already knew but there were 3 new katas created by sensei matsuda which I liked to learn but it was impossible with single angle pictures.
Sasori_Te Posted September 19, 2004 Author Posted September 19, 2004 Thanks for the info P.A.L. I'll keep that in mind if I buy anything from these guys. I've gotten some books from their publishing company before and they were okay. That doesn't say anything for their videos and dvd's however. I was thinking of buying some of George Alexander's stuff. It's usually pretty good quality material. I'll let everyone know what it was like if I do. A block is a strike is a lock is a throw.
