How about for the benefit of those of us who are the unlucky few that didnt get to read what you have already posted somewhere else.....PLEASE TELL US YOUR BACKGROUND GILBERT......its a simple request.....I, and I think some others here would like to know what your training and knowledge base consist of......this helps US understand "where youre coming from", when you express your opinions concerning thread topics. I personally dont see what the need for all the "cloak and dagger" , "thats all I want you to know....sorry" stuff. You almost make it sound like you walked through China and sought out some old Master who lives alone in a hut so he could teach you special secrets that have been in his family for 4000 years or something......

 

You want credibility here ?.....what could hurt your credibility more than NOT answering such a simple question like "Hey Gilbert.....whats your background ?"......especially when posed by fellow martial artists on a PUBLIC forum.......BTW......if it is such a secret background...why ARE you on a PUBLIC forum ?

In this thread you state you posted background info in the other thread. In the other thread, you state you posted background info in this thread. Time stamps for these posts, as well as my searches shortly thereafter, clearly indicate there was no derogatory comments made within that timeframe. Also, i did find the 'one' post you indicated you had edited. However, that particular edited post was one of the ones referring to the 'other thread' as the one that has your background listed.

 

I have no more time for this. Enjoy your stay in this forum, and hopefully you'll learn a few things. I will let you know right now, however, that if you post incorrect information, especially in an authoritative manner... one or more of the many 'master-level' practitioners frequenting these boards will likely step up and correct you. Indeed, it may be me. If such does happen, realize it for what it is... efforts to ensure that 'misinformation' does not become the norm for this community.
