wing chun kuen man Posted September 16, 2004 Posted September 16, 2004 Rusty, Hello and welcome. Tell us about Zenshin. Wing Chun Kuen Man Real traditional martial arts training is difficult to find.....most dojos in the west are Mcdojos....some are better and some are worst....but they are what they are....do you train in one?

Rusty Posted September 18, 2004 Author Posted September 18, 2004 Hi Thanks for the welcome. Zenshin is similar to Kyokushin and Seido. Our Shihan is Merv Nelis He was a Nidan in Kyokushin many years ago. I remember my father talking about training under him in the mid 70's I am not sure what happened with Seido. If you want to have a look the website is http://www.zenshin.com.au. One of our Sempai's is Mick Varker. I am sure a lot of Aussie Kyokushin would remember him. Cheers Rick
Rotten Head Fok Posted September 20, 2004 Posted September 20, 2004 Hello, welcome to KF! You must be stable and balanced in your foot work, if you have to use your martial knowledge in combat, your intent should be to win. If you do strike, you must release great power! The martial arts are easy to learn, but difficult to correct.
