47MartialMan
Injuries can be upon your opponent, but the more of them (situations) that one is in, the greater the chance of you substaining an injury-physically and mentally. Don't ever think that you will come out unscathed.
Rick
I think it was that cool Master Jules on this forum who said that u have to resign urself to the fact that ur probably gonna get hurt if u chose to fight. So yeah, that's right 47MM, but u still have a good chance. Unless of course the guy is a Kali/Eskrima knife fighter - cos they'll cut u ten times before u even notice it. In my area, the chances of such ecounter are...well I have a better chance getting hit by horse and buggy.

gcav
I have been in law enforcement for 21 years (and still going). I have been attacked with everything you can think of and then some. One night I responded to a domestic fight in progress. I was the first one there, and since I could hear the fight still going on thru the door, I made entry without waiting for my backup. I was then promptly attacked with a glow worm. Thats right, a childs toy that lights up when you squeeze it. I "dewormed" the guy and took him down. I didn't put the glow worm in the report as it seemed a bit silly. I have also been attacked with all the standard stuff like baseball bats, broken beer bottles, chains and knives. And I've had my share of guns to deal with as well. I am glad to say that my MAs training has served me well over the years. Train like your life depends on it....Because it does. 47MartialMan
I wonder if any art has ever practiced a defense against a glow worm?
