foreveryoung001 Posted November 3, 2004 Posted November 3, 2004 "I always knew someday you would be a martial fartist" Oh my Can't help but chuckle at that one Student: "Why did you hit that guy with a chair? Why didn't you use your karate?"Master: "Hitting him with a chair was the only karate I could think of at the time."Lesson: Practice until you don't have to think.
KarateChick06 Posted December 19, 2004 Posted December 19, 2004 One of my sensei's eyebrows twitches every time he kiais. It's really distracting, yet still funny. DORKS HAVE MORE FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Savvy?
vertigo Posted December 19, 2004 Posted December 19, 2004 One of my sensei's cell phones goes off a lot during training at the U And he's habitually late, so we can usually tell when he's coming through the hall if we hear ringing... "Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go." - T. S. Eliot
Gloi Posted December 19, 2004 Posted December 19, 2004 Our sensei was doing a grading and he warned all the watching parents to turn their phones off during the grading. In the middle of the grading a phone went off and he glared and growled "Whoever that is switch the phone off or go outside". Then he realised it was his own phone
June1 Posted December 20, 2004 Posted December 20, 2004 Oh, man... that's great! Unfortunately, I have no stories to tell, as my senseis are usually all quite serious. The most that has happened is that one of my favourite senseis sometimes kiais in falsetto when giving examples of what not to do. He's the best! Kool Kiais: ICE! DIE! KITES! DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGHHHHHH! KIAI!"Know Thyself""Circumstances make me who I am."
senna_trem Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 I would be afraid to post anything here about him, he is watching...always watching... "I think therefore I am" Rene Descartes
ShotokanKid Posted January 28, 2005 Posted January 28, 2005 My teacher always does this one joke when the young kids are having a hard time following instructions, he says "I'm from Hawaii. I can't speak English any better for you." That always gets a chuckle from the kids' parents. "What we do in life, echoes in eternity.""We must all fear evil men. But there is another kind of evil which we must fear most, and that is the indifference of good men."
mskickerusa Posted February 2, 2005 Posted February 2, 2005 one of my instructors is from mexico and has a pretty strong accent. Whenever he is saying Axe-Kick, it comes out os A$$ kick
