Oa2k Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 Hi I am a student at Carleton university in Ottawa, Canada. They offer this shaolin kung-fu there. Here is the description: This ancient Chinese art incorporates the unique and sophisticated techniques from Chinese Kempo, Praying Mantis and Tiger/ Crane Kung Fu into a dynamic system of empty hand self defense. It is based on the scientific laws and disciplines of physics, leverage and kinesiology. The objective is to better yourself through the sharpening of both mind and body. So what do you guys think? They offer it 2 times a week for a 10 week period. Then 2 more 10 week periods follow.
Master Jules Posted September 12, 2004 Posted September 12, 2004 Take the class.....In fact...take any class you can....doesnt matter what it is....try to be like a sponge and soak up as much knowledge about anything and everything you can. ~Master Jules......aka "The Sandman""I may be a trained killer......but Im really a nice guy"
Red J Posted September 12, 2004 Posted September 12, 2004 Take it and try. If its through the university it is usually a bargain. I had to lose my mind to come to my senses.
kle1n Posted September 15, 2004 Posted September 15, 2004 I agree if that is a chance to learn then learn. The road never ends and through an open focused mind it always leads in the right direction. Be everything. Be nothing.
Master Jules Posted September 16, 2004 Posted September 16, 2004 Very true. ~Master Jules......aka "The Sandman""I may be a trained killer......but Im really a nice guy"
47MartialMan Posted September 16, 2004 Posted September 16, 2004 I weary of anyone having to state they teach Shaolin Kung Fu
