No....not at all.....glad to see that youre trying to grab knowledge and skill from whatever source as possible.

 

Aside from Goju being my main style, I also hold Dan rank in Aikijujitsu and Jujitsu as well......like I said in another post.....learn all you can and teach all you know.....doesnt matter where it comes from as long as it works......keep it up.....take it from wherever you can get it.

My favorite open hand kata would have to be either Pinan Godan or Passai Sho. They just feel right, I dont know what it is, just something about em I really enjoy. Laterz, Justin

If I had to name one I guess it wold have to be Shisochin.

 

Me too! I often find myself doing it in a tai-chi kinda way and it feels great! I do enjoy practicing all my kata and exploring the intricacies.

mArtial_Girl , what version of Anan do you practice anan is not part of standard shito-ryu and Motobu style, the one I know comming from Ryuei-ryu part of Naha-te.

 

any body has info. about Anan please come in.

What version of Annan? Umm.. well.. I don't know... the shito-ryu Annan?.. I guess.

My favorites are Seinchin, and Bassai-dai. And my second favorite is the second effort of kwan kong chun kwan. (I'm 100% that that's spelled wrong.) But that kata is strictly a Kwanmukan kata.
