battousai16 Posted September 15, 2004 Posted September 15, 2004 yeah, i remember when i first started learning percussion, i started on this "portable" bell set. the damn thing probably weighed 60 lbs., and i had to carry it to school and home every day. and the handles were made from some illogical material that really dug into my hand. my buddy who i walked with, however, played the clarinet. he just stuck it into his backpack....@#@#$%! mArTiAl_GiRl Posted September 16, 2004 Posted September 16, 2004 so I decided to learn how to play flute instead, cuz I can carry a flute with me in my bag. heh heh, that was one of the main reasons that I chose to learn to play the flute... At school, my initial choice was between the flute and the guitar, but I picked the flute as its far easier to carry a piece of metal round than a whopping great guitar. As I went to schools that didn't have lockers, what I did and [/i]didn't[/i] have to carry around was a mega concern for me at the time. lol, yeah, same here heh.. Kill is love
