monkeygirl Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 I started with recorder, moved on to piano for a few years, and most recently have been playing guitar for 5 years. I like to write songs and lyrics for it. 1st dan & Asst. Instructor TKD 2000-2003No matter the tune...if you can rock it, rock it hard.

I did a little (and I stress "little") bit of song writing too for my bands. I'd like to see what you wrote. mArTiAl_GiRl Posted September 12, 2004 Posted September 12, 2004 I can play piano and flute... Kill is love
Fenris-wolf Posted September 13, 2004 Posted September 13, 2004 Piano 12-ish years. Kinda dormant at the moment with no piano I sing as well, but have been pretty slack over the last few years. Would love to pick up piano again at some point but not really practical right now. More seriously considering guitar. Would be fun to pick something else up. RaidenTB Posted September 13, 2004 Posted September 13, 2004 Piano, for about 10 years. I was taking lessons for 3 years as a part of other program I was in. After that I continued by myself. I'd really like to learn to play chello. It has such a great sound... By the way: Does anyone sing under the shower? Imagination is more important than knowledge.
Kicks Posted September 13, 2004 Posted September 13, 2004 Would love to pick up piano Me too, I'd love to be able to pick up a piano, but I haven't been to the gym in years. I'd probally throw my back out. when you create the world's largest trailer park, you're going to have tornadoes
RaidenTB Posted September 13, 2004 Posted September 13, 2004 Good thing the pianos are usually on wheels... Imagination is more important than knowledge.
mArTiAl_GiRl Posted September 14, 2004 Posted September 14, 2004 Good thing the pianos are usually on wheels... Hahahaha! Well, that's why I stopped going to piano lessons, cuz I got bored, and besides, I can't carry a piano with me if I want to play for others, so I decided to learn how to play flute instead, cuz I can carry a flute with me in my bag. Actually.. I wanted to play these irish bagpipies too, but.. I don't think that suits for me, hahaha! I just love everything celtic and irish.. Kill is love
aefibird Posted September 14, 2004 Posted September 14, 2004 (edited) so I decided to learn how to play flute instead, cuz I can carry a flute with me in my bag. heh heh, that was one of the main reasons that I chose to learn to play the flute... At school, my initial choice was between the flute and the guitar, but I picked the flute as its far easier to carry a piece of metal round than a whopping great guitar. As I went to schools that didn't have lockers, what I did and didn't have to carry around was a mega concern for me at the time. Edited for a typo.
