Kicks
Kicks, have you evacuated yet? I heard that 1 million people in the New Orleans area just got the order to move. Good luck and keep us posted if you have internet access. Red J, Yes, we evacuated yesterday. We left the New Orleans area at 2:30. It took about an hour to get on the Causeway Bridge (about 1 mile from my house). It's a 24 mile bridge. It took about 2.5 hours. The trip to where we are now would normally take 5 hours. We got here at 4:30AM, that's a 14 hours drive. It's was gridlock central!!! A ROYAL PAIN!!!!!! Right now I'm at the town's library. My son had some eBay payment to make, so we brought him here. I took the oppertunity to drop in on the forum. I'll probably head back home early Friday morning. when you create the world's largest trailer park, you're going to have tornadoes

Red J
I'm glad you guys did well. My brother in Panama City Beach told me that his wife's restaurant got hit by a tornado and it and two other restaurants are no longer. We are having an active season. I had to lose my mind to come to my senses.
delta1
Best wishes to y'all. I've been through tornadoes, and they were bad enough. But hurricanes- no thanks! Freedom isn't free!
