Luckykboxer
Heyas... Just moved this last week... man it really amazes me how much crap you accumulate.. still in San Diego, just moved about 12 miles away... I just sit back and wonder how I can have so much stuff in a 2 bedroom place that it takes a 4 bedroom UHaul to move it in 1 trip, with multiple carloads of small stuff to follow..... must be like the whole 10 hot dogs to a pack, and only 8 hot dog buns... hrmmm anyways off to reading posts this should take a while :/
gheinisch
Why so much trouble for 12 miles? It is amazing how much stuff you can accumulate in a short period of time. My parents retired a few years back and instead of trying to move all that stuff (30 something yrs. worth) they just sold the family home to my brother. Made him a good deal too! Well, congrats on your move! "If your hand goes forth withhold your temper""If your temper goes forth withold your hand"-Gichin Funakoshi

Wickedwayz
I moved 700 miles because my job decided after 9 years they were going to screw my wife and i over, a u haul for that distance is almost 2 grand so my father in-law and i made 3 trips (15 hrs there and 15 back ) with a 16 foot trailer . hehe but anyway moving sucks and if i ever have to move more than 20 miles again im selling all my stuff or giving it away i would have done that this time but i also had to pack up my house in 3 days .......we , and when i say we i mean my wife have ALOT of "crap" oh well sometimes drastic change is good , or at least keeps you in check broken rythme indeed ~Never retreat, Always advance to the rear.
