Calo Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 Jean-Claude Van Damme would beat the $%it out of Maurice Smith. Just kidding.I would have to say Ernesto Hoost is an excellent kickboxer.
Gilbert Posted April 9, 2005 Posted April 9, 2005 bill wallace Even the most powerful human being has a limited sphere of strength. Draw him outside of that sphere and into your own, and his strength will dissipate.

Muaythaiboxer Posted May 6, 2005 Posted May 6, 2005 the Thais have the best kickboxers period. i dont think there are many kickboxers who could last long in full thai rules. Fist visible Strike invisible
ThaiWarrior Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 the Thais have the best kickboxers period. i dont think there are many kickboxers who could last long in full thai rules.I beg to differ. The Dutch are notorious for destroying the Thai boxers in Thailand. Rob Kaman is the most famous or should I say infamous for this. Ramon Dekker is also well respected in Thailand. And I highly doubt any Thai boxer can take on Ernesto Hoost or Peter Aerts. No Thai Boxer can take on the Dutch because the Dutch outweigh them. A major weakness in Muay Thai is that a bigger, stronger opponent will ALWAYS beat you if they use the same techniques as you.
elbows_and_knees Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 that's what I was going to point out - the thais are little guys - the dutch typically have a nice advantage over them.
