Step 1 - Stuff you need.

1. 2 ft. of Pvc Pipe

2. Nylon Cord (Get a Pack of 50' x 3/16")

3. 2 Finishing Nails

Step 2 - How to put it all together.

Cut the Pvc pipe into 12 inch sections.

Drill a hole tinier then the finishing nail width about half an inch from the top of the pipe. Tap the nail through the hole you made. Repeat to the other pipe. Cut the part of the nail that extends through the pipe so it is flush to the tube. Take the nylon rope string and put it around the nail and put the other end around the other nail. Tie the rope and tuck the knot into the pipe.

Step 3 - You have a finished pair of Practice Style Nunchaku.

Question: Why waste the time and effort in making "practice" nunchauku? They don't move, feel or react the same as real nunchauku, so IMHO you'd be better off training with real nunchauku from the start.

Yes, you're going to get some bumps and bruises from real weapons, as opposed to toy weapons, but you'll learn to improve your technique much faster that way.
