Matousek Posted September 4, 2004 Posted September 4, 2004 Do you have the ability to know when a enemy or even loved one is lying to you? What do you see in peoples eyes?Delight , fear , and emotion are a few of many aspects of eyes. Some people beleive it a gift, but I believe everyone has the abilty to to see whats behind the eyes. One thing thats ussually mistaken for hatred , mischief and other evil things is "shifty eyes". Just because someone has shifty eyes, does not necisarely meen there up to no good. Try observing peoples eyes a little more, and you will see the truth. "Knowledge is Power!"~Matousek~Martial Arts

HumanTyphoon Posted September 5, 2004 Posted September 5, 2004 I agree with the eyes thing. The truth can be clouded through a shroud of looks, feelings, and rumors, but if you look into their eyes, you can see the truth. Go ahead and look, look deep down, it might help sometime. If you take a crooked path and have to go through a cliff. Either hope there is a bridge, or learn to fly.
TheDevilAside Posted September 5, 2004 Posted September 5, 2004 ...That might creep them out, too. "If you're going through hell, keep going." - Sir Winston Churchill
HumanTyphoon Posted September 5, 2004 Posted September 5, 2004 Heh heh, that is so true as well, you can actually get in a lot of trouble for doing that, especially if you do it to the opposite gender. Keep that part in mind. If you take a crooked path and have to go through a cliff. Either hope there is a bridge, or learn to fly.
TheDevilAside Posted September 5, 2004 Posted September 5, 2004 Not if you do it right If you look into her eyes like this.. she'll just go.. but if you're suave and you do it like this.. she'll go.. S o, have any examples of when you've used this method? "If you're going through hell, keep going." - Sir Winston Churchill
battousai16 Posted September 5, 2004 Posted September 5, 2004 i gotta' say, i'm with WW again. you may be able to see things with the eyes, but i think you can see just as much if not more through body language and gestures. Bad_Vibes Posted September 5, 2004 Posted September 5, 2004 I've heard the quote before " The eyes are the window to the soul", but I don't know where from. That phrase has haunted me for the last several months because when my wife's aunt died a few months ago her eyes were shut for like three days before she went. But then right when she gave up they burst open like somethig was exploding out of them. It hit me that the few people I've ever seen die opened their eyes right befoe they went. And in the movies people always open their eyes right before they die. I am really starting to beleive they are the window and the soul leaves through them when we die. There are few people I have met that I havn't been able to judge pretty quickly by looking into them. There's nothing specific to look for. It's a feeling you get while pretending to hear what they are saying. It's like their eyes are speaking louder than their voice and until I get to know them I can't turn the volume down to listen to what they are actually saying. Weird huh.
