Sho-ju Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 Without turning this into a pp thread (unless it's related to Chinese White Crane), why is White Crane often considered to be the most dangerous of the Kung Fu styles? sj
47MartialMan Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 It is not. But, it has influenced many other martial arts systems, esp Karate.
law hon gung Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 Bai he system has its own qi gong practice, the fighting form has 39 fighting postures or techs, teaches balance from a one/two point rooted stance, blade plains shielding wings woks spotless and fast kicking sequences and blade work
47MartialMan Posted August 31, 2004 Posted August 31, 2004 Its all good, but it cannot be claimed as the most dangerous?
Master Jules Posted August 31, 2004 Posted August 31, 2004 In the hands of a novice, NOTHING can be considered the most dangerous art.....In the hands of an expert practicioner.....well.....you figure it out. ~Master Jules......aka "The Sandman""I may be a trained killer......but Im really a nice guy"

47MartialMan Posted August 31, 2004 Posted August 31, 2004 A lot of your posts make sense and have good points.
wing chun kuen man Posted August 31, 2004 Posted August 31, 2004 sho-ju, White Crane kung fu is not the most "dangerous" style of kung fu. It can sure be classified as one of the most "dangerous" but it would be very difficult to name the most dangerous style of kung fu. As far as I am concerned most if not all styles are dangerous if learnt the way they were meant to be learnt. Having made the above statement I will like to add that there are styles of kung fu that are considered higher level styles. The dragon style is such a style. It involves a high level of chi development and a great number of deadly moves, and I am lead to believe by my sifu that in both the Shaolin and the Wudang temple it was usually the last style to be taught to the disciples (I am sure that there were circumstances where it was not). Wing Chun Kuen Man Real traditional martial arts training is difficult to find.....most dojos in the west are Mcdojos....some are better and some are worst....but they are what they are....do you train in one?
Master Jules Posted August 31, 2004 Posted August 31, 2004 Again......there is no such thing as the "deadliest art"......it all comes down to the depth of knowledge and ability to do of the practicioner ~Master Jules......aka "The Sandman""I may be a trained killer......but Im really a nice guy"
