gcav
I do not know every rule for every contest. The only way to get the answer is to ask your instructor. But I will say that I have been involved in MA for about 30 years, and have entered many contests here in the US and overseas, and I have never heard of color restrictions for sparring equipment. Sphintai
Worry more about your technique before you go to competitions. Before you actually compete in a competition, go and watch the people in your division, if it is local, they are probably some of the people you will be going against in upcoming events, depending on how fast they go up in rank.
