Rotten Head Fok Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 Apart from martial arts ?.......uh O I was a terrible reader when I was young but after some very good books I love to read. I enjoy cooking, fishing, building plastic models, gardening, photography, camping, strategy PC games, learning new to me things! Adventures, creating with style (my own) and more ...... You must be stable and balanced in your foot work, if you have to use your martial knowledge in combat, your intent should be to win. If you do strike, you must release great power! The martial arts are easy to learn, but difficult to correct.
DLopez Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 I love working on cars. Not so much making repairs, I still can do that, but I love adding performance parts to make them just go faster and faster! And I love going to the track and seeing the results of those efforts! I'm also into digital photography. I've had a Canon EOS 10D for about a year now, and am still amazed at the quality of pictures it takes. College football is about to start, and after that, college basketball!! Go Coogs!! Between the photography, the cars, and my martial art, I don't have much time left for anything else. COME ON Sheffield Wednesday!! Astronomy Playing and listening to music Cricket, which is a truly English sport. No other country in the world could create a game which takes all day to play and involves stopping for tea-breaks. Wasting time online in forums instead of actually doing any work... battousai16 Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 i really dig history, and dig politics. i'm a big book geek, and i love watching bad movies with my buddies. i'm a runner, and a percussionist, and the occasional videogame or two eliminates anytime for such trivial matters as school work and the like "I hear you can kill 200 men and play a mean six string at the same time..."-Six String Samurai
Drunken Monkey Posted August 27, 2004 Posted August 27, 2004 .....hey, does 'finding ways to justify sending time with someone' count as being a hobby? or is that just an obsession? post count is directly related to how much free time you have, not how intelligent you are."When you have to kill a man it costs nothing to be polite."
battousai16 Posted August 27, 2004 Posted August 27, 2004 i don't know, i've lost sight of that fine line between "cute" and "creepy", especially when dealing with the opposite sex though that reminds me for some reason; i like to write, too "I hear you can kill 200 men and play a mean six string at the same time..."-Six String Samurai
monkeygirl Posted August 27, 2004 Posted August 27, 2004 Let's see... Reading, writing, (arithmetic only when it's required) listening to music, writing lyrics and music, playing them on my guitar, playing video games, watching movies, hanging with friends, web surfing, various other nerdy-type things such as photoshopping, web design, graphic design, im-ing, etc. Working out, studying, school stuff. I like trying new things, like this summer I went whitewater rafting 3 times as part of my summer job as a camp counselor. Now I want to hit up some class 4 rapids 1st dan & Asst. Probably a Canon EOS 10D Pencil drawing Birdwatching Playing the piano Reading books Teasing and bantering my tortoise I really love to drive, but that doesn't count as a hobby, does it? I'll be getting my hands (my mouse ) on Photoshop soon, so I'll be spending even more time behind the computer than I already do. Really looking forward to that Imagination is more important than knowledge.
Ironberg Posted August 27, 2004 Posted August 27, 2004 Listening to music... Computers (3D art, games, programming, etc.) Sequencing music (FLStudio anyone?)...
