Judo Warrior
Hey, If Naoya Ogawa and Hidehiko Yoshida fight, who do u think will win? Who do u think is the better Judoka/Fighter? For those who don't know both fighters, They were both Olympic Judokas, and they each recieved medals, i think Yoshida got gold Medal in the 1992 olympcis and Ogawa got a silver (they werent in the same weight catagory). Now both fighters are in Pride FC, for those who dont know what Pride FC is, It's a mixed martial arts fighting organization like UFC except much better. Both Fighters are doing really well, Hidehiko Yoshida beat Royce Gracie last year and they had a rematch in the begining of this year and it ended as a draw. waiting for your opinions Edited August 23, 2004 by Judo Warrior - A coward dies a thousand deaths, A warrior dies but once.- No matter how strong the wind is, The mountain cannot bow to it. Shorinryu Sensei
Well, if I had any idea who either of these people were, maybe I could make an educated guess. Are they the two new busboy's down at Chinatown restaurant? My nightly prayer..."Please, just let me win that PowerBall Jackpot just once. I'll prove to you that it won't change me!" G95champ
if they were to fight neither would win. (General George S. Patton Jr.) "It's the unconquerable soul of man, and not the nature of the weapon he uses, that ensures victory."
Shorinryu Sensei
if they were to fight neither would win. Pardon my ignorance here bud, but as I stated before, I've never heard of either of these guys. Why do you say neither would win? Just curious. Judo Warrior
Well, if I had any idea who either of these people were, maybe I could make an educated guess. Are they the two new busboy's down at Chinatown restaurant? They are both great fighters in Pride Fighting Championships. If u don't know what Pride FC is, It a mixed martial arts organization thats like the UFC, except much better. A lot of the gracies are in it now. Royce Gracie lost to Hidehiko Yoshida last year, and a few months ago they had rematch and it was a draw. ( so good to see a Judoka defeat Royce Gracie, which is supposedly the best BJJ fighter now).if they were to fight neither would win. Nice answer , Please I want some good answers, or don't bother posting, Thank U. and by the way, Naoya Ogawa and Hidehiko Yoshida were both Olympic Judokas, and they each recieved medals, i think Yoshida got gold Medal in the 1992 olympcis and Ogawa got a silver (they werent in the same weight catagory). - A coward dies a thousand deaths, A warrior dies but once.- No matter how strong the wind is, The mountain cannot bow to it. Shorinryu Sensei
I wonder who would win a fight between Yuichi Kuda, Ken Penland, Greg Ohl or Ron Lindsey? What? You've never heard of those guys? *tsk* Now, if you would have posted this...They are both great fighters in Pride Fighting Championships. ...in your origional post, I would have had some point of reference and had some idea who they were. This also would have helped in your origional post.and by the way, Naoya Ogawa and Hidehiko Yoshida were both Olympic Judokas, and they each recieved medals, i think Yoshida got gold Medal in the 1992 olympcis and Ogawa got a silver (they werent in the same weight catagory). SevenStar
Based on what I've seen of ogawa in pride so far, I would say yoshida. royce is very good, but is definitely not the best bjj guy right now. Heck, he's not even the best in his family.

I personally dislike the Gracies but i still think Royce is the best Gracie. - A coward dies a thousand deaths, A warrior dies but once.- No matter how strong the wind is, The mountain cannot bow to it. SevenStar
it's commonly known that rickson could kill royce. I've met royce a few times and he even says rickson is better than him.
