White warlock, excelent post. I agreed almost exactly with you on everything except the confidence thingy ecept i think the way the other guy said it, it was ego either way. Confidence is being able ot walk away form a fight knowing you would have won and knowing you have nothing to prove. But that being said, thanks for writing all that and saying so many good points especially some i never even thought of.

Laws in my country state that if you are swung upon and fear for yourself, killing is allowed. Old colonial laws!!

Not necessarily. In fiji, u have to fear for your 'life,' not merely fear for yourself. the problem comes about where you have to present to the authorities your justification for committing the action of taking a life. If you cannot effectively present that your life was in danger, or that you perceived your life to be in danger, then you will be incarcerated.
