"I am" is reportedly the shortest sentence in the English language. Could it be that "I do" is the longest sentence?

I saw this bumper sticker yesterday...

"Eat well. Excercise regularly. Die anyway!"

I thought it was quite amusing, especially as the quote was promoting a gym...

I heard the other day that on average an obese woman still manages to live as long as an in-shape man.

Hehe this thread is really good to read.

Okay, well the following isn't exactly a quote, it's just part of something I read once, but it really makes sense.

"Your thoughts are magical. Thoughts are powerful forces of energy. Thoughts create everything you want in life. Thoughts can even create the things you don't want. Thoughts can only come from your mind - and you are the only person in charge of your own mind. So you create the thoughts that create the circumstances of your life. Since your thoughts create your reality - you create your reality.

[...]

Your thoughts are picked up by your subconscious mind - an incredible power that will create anything you tell it. Your instructions to your subconscious mind are your thoughts. Your subconscious doesn't know good from bad. It doesn't know right from wrong. It only follows your instructions - which are your thoughts.

[...]

The first thing you need to do is pay attention to your thoughts. Catch yourself thinking. Analyze your thoughts - listen to what you are thinking. Then decide if these are good thoughts, bad thoughts or needless thoughts. Decide if these thoughts work for you or against you.

I can assure you that 90-percent of the thoughts you have either serve no purpose or work against you. If this is the case - you need to change them and consciously insert new thoughts - thoughts that will work for you and create the life you want."
