Tobias_Reece
I really enjoy working with the sai. Its actually the main weapon of my rank (7th Kyu) in Matayoshi Kobudo C ya "You Are Never Given A Dream Without Also Being Given The Power To Make It True. Joecooke007
sais are cool weapons. You can use them to pin swords. I am sorry to say that i am still too low a rank to practice them but when I get high enough my teacher has agreed to teach me. SaiFightsMS
Yes Joe sai are really pretty cool. They are one of the most popular weapons in my school. It is good to wait and get a good grounding in basic empty handed techniques before doing kobudo work. For many who start kobudo with the weapon in their hands they forget what their feet are doing. Stances go to pot. Incidently, one of the first moves many learn when using the sai is jumping to get the bare feet out of the way of dropped sai. Pacificshore
Sais are a fun weapon to learn and work with. They develop good arm and wrist strenght. One the flip side of that, they can wear you out too!!! Di'DaDeeeee!!!Mind of Mencia
YODA
i have a pair of Sai that I no longer use - I have no need for them. They are quite long - Octagonal and chromed with a little pitting but still look good. They are in a red lined leather case. Free to a good home - i.e someone who will use them rather than hang them on their bedroom wall Tobias - anyone from your end coming past Wigan on the M6 could easily pick them up sometime.
