Vito Posted August 15, 2004 Posted August 15, 2004 id recommend against doing more than one style, with the exception that they are different areas of fighting (such as one striking, another grappling.) see which school you like the best, try to judge which will teach you how to fight better, and go with that. Fiona Posted August 15, 2004 Posted August 15, 2004 9 miles away!?! Id rather go shotokan then. 9 miles isnt worth it half the time, you would ride bus for like hours... Unless the shorin ryu teacher is really really good and much better then the shotokan, id go shotokan.Isn't the most important thing a style that works for him and a good Dojo though...? 9miles doesn't take that long to get to on bus Maybe walking...

White Warlock Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 Ugh! How much did you pay, and did you sign a contract? I think you'll find the 'extra' charges to be really friggin' annoying. "When you are able to take the keys from my hand, you will be ready to drive." - Shaolin DMV TestIntro
