monkeygirl
Batt: I agree...Blade 2 and The Medallion were terrible movies. I love Jackie Chan, but I couldn't take the Medallion. It was bad enough that he sold out in Tuxedo, but at least that one was funny. Speaking of bad Jackie Chan movies...The Protector is so bad it's hilarious. There's actually an entire, all-too-long scene where we get an "inside look" at the crime boss' cocaine refinery. Apparently, in order to make the stuff, you have to be a completely naked woman. There were like 20 of 'em, naked as the day they were born. Oh and by the way, there was a break-in and they all had to evacuate...running and climbing ladders. I once moonlighted as a cine projectionist and the most memorable flop I sat through was Tess of the D'urbervilles. Three hours of sheer boredom. It cleared the theatre. I challenge anyone to sit through it without supergluing their eyelids open and handcuffing themselves to the chair. It should be marketed as the world's best cure for insomnia.I'm reading the book right now and considered seeing the movie, but now I probably won't. Thanks for the heads up The worst movie I have ever seen in my entire life was "Brotherhood of the Wolf", a weird French horror film my brother made us rent. I remember watching the movie, seeing the ending, and not feeling like anything was resolved or explained in any form. There were so many random plot twists, the only good character was killed off, and it was just creepy and gross. There were about 5 separate groups of bad guys, which just confused matters way too much. I'd say the only redeeming part was the first scene where said good character has a pretty interesting bo staff fight. Other than that, nada. Altogether, very bad film. Strangely enough, I've heard people rave over how cool it was. Go figure. 1st dan & Asst. Instructor TKD 2000-2003No matter the tune...if you can rock it, rock it hard.
