aefibird
Does anyone on here train with any of the more 'uncommon' weapons out there? Y'know, not the usual Bo, Sai, Nunchaku, Kama, etc etc etc. For example, does anyone train with the Jitte or the Naginata? "Was it really worth it? Only time and death may ever tell..." granmasterchen
yes, here in japan we have a class that is strictly for training with the naginata, then for the jitte we study that in our ninpo classes That which does not destroy me will only make me stronger

Sauzin
I practice a Koa (3 pronged hoe) kata. Now there is a true Okinawan farming implement. The only two things that stand between an effective art and one that isn't are a tradition to draw knowledge from and the mind to practice it. trevorhu
My favorite weapons style, but most everyone with which I practice use European fighting styles. I am trained in Tang Soo Do and I find very little applicability to my Tetsubo and Naginata practice.
