longarm25
I like the bo but there is just something about the sai PhilRyu Kyu Christian Karate Federation"Do not be dependent on others for your improvement. Aaron Little
The wepon I am most likely to have on me if forced to defend myself would be a G-19. With that being said I am rather found of this quote from John Steinbeck: "The final weapon is the brain, all else is supplemental." KnifeHand
Tanbo - basically a 28" stick, like an escrima. If I was in a self-defense situation it is very likely that I will find a stick, rolled up magazine, stapler, etc. to use like a tanbo. Also, being trained on tanbo is a great stepping stone to bo, sai, etc. I am currently learning the suntetsu, which is a 6'' metal rod attached to a ring that rotates. It's great because it can be hidden in your hand, but still do an insane amount of damage. Overall though, tanbo is best for me. "Please do not drop your partner like a sack of potatoes. Son Goku the monkeyking
I'm a nunchaku kid all the way, I have liked it ever sence my young days of watching the ninja turtles. I also thought it was the best because you are less likely to kill someone with them, so no law suites Holla
street fighter
my favorite weapon is the one i always have, pocket knife. 1" to 5" blades are wonder workers if they are needed and employed and deployed properly. no one like cold steel or the thought of cold steel entering the body. Taku-Shimazu
Tonfa, and Kusari - Gama are my favorites. This is an unusual choice as they are both so different, The Tonfa has a rigid weapon and the Kusari - gama is a free flowing weapon. Kaminari
The nunchaku are fun, but not very practical, as I'm not likely going to be carrying mine or find any common item that can be used as nunchaku. Otherwise, I'd have to say escrima or iron whip ( ).
fangshi
I like hooks . They are very cool . A bit clumbsy to work with at first but once you get control they are great. My favorite is the phoenix beak hook , not as well known as the tiger hook but still my favorite . Very versitile and hard to defend against. As far as practical for defence I will go with the baton. We are not so much individual beings as individual points of perception within one immense being.
