zerohour Posted July 22, 2004 Posted July 22, 2004 Hi, another newbie here. I found this site a couple of days ago - seems like it covers any subject you'd need to know about. Anyway, i'm 22 years old, from Queensland, Australia. I practice Kumiai Ryu, a martial arts system developed in Australia, which is apparently a mixture of many different styles. I started in January this year and was allowed to double-grade to orange belt, as I studied karate when I was younger. See you in the other forums.

Rotten Head Fok Posted July 22, 2004 Posted July 22, 2004 Welcome to KF ! You must be stable and balanced in your foot work, if you have to use your martial knowledge in combat, your intent should be to win. If you do strike, you must release great power! The martial arts are easy to learn, but difficult to correct.
