Crex Posted July 21, 2004 Posted July 21, 2004 Could someone give me a list of some of the more eclectic styles out there? I'm thinking it might be a good idea to study something that blends different (striking and grappling) styles together so that if I happen to enjoy one of them in particular I can study it later in greater detail. So far I've found that MMAs, Kajukenbo, and Kempo/Kenpo are like this. Which others should I consider? Also are there styles other than JKD that emphasize personal adaptation? Thanks.
Vito Posted July 30, 2004 Posted July 30, 2004 mma is the way to go. if you cant find somethign that teaches "mma" just learn a striking such as boxing, kickboxing, or something of that nature... and a grappling such as bjj, wrestling, judo, or something of that nature.
