SaiFightsMS Posted December 5, 2001 Posted December 5, 2001 Hello Korean stylists, I am looking for information on a particular form known by a few different names. In Okinawan based styles Rohai (any one of the katas), Matsumura Rohai, and Meikyo in Japanese styles. I got a line that there is a Korean variant of one of these katas called Myung Kyung. These are very old forms probably originating in China. It is really only the history from Matsumura and Itosu forward that has any written documentation. Any input or information is welcome. Sai
CTpizzaboy Posted December 5, 2001 Posted December 5, 2001 Interesting. Never heard of that form before. Must do some research on this one...wait, sorry man, found out I'm low on brain cells. Canh T.I often quote myself. It adds spice to my conversations.
SBN Doug Posted December 6, 2001 Posted December 6, 2001 Its not in KSW as far as I know. Unless it's one of the really high ones that's not written down anywhere. Kuk Sool Won - 4th danEvil triumphs when good men do nothing.
