bullydog Posted July 7, 2004 Share Posted July 7, 2004 Hi all. I'm new and wanted to introduce myself. I am 27 years old. I have been studying in the MA for over twenty years, twelve of which I was a Co Owner and instructor of our own school. I started at the age of four with my father who was a Goju-Ryu instructor. At nine, we both enrolled in a Washin-Ryu school. I reached my third degree brown belt, but for us to go any further in rank, we would have to travel two and a half hours one way to go to the main Dojo, two times per week. We then started over in a Moo Duk Kwan school. After seven years we reached the rank of Black Belt. We have since worked up to third degree. I have also done alot of work with the Shurite Hempo Assoc. I spent alot of time going from school to school, talking with the owners, and learning their froms of self defense.
