Luckykboxer Posted July 5, 2004 Share Posted July 5, 2004 I think you are probably being told not to move yoru shoulders for a specific technique or movement. In the course of your training you will be told lots of things that if taken out of context will not make sense. One thing you have to realize is that a move shown to be effective in one scenario, may or may not be effective in anotehr completely diffrent scenario. I know that when you start out it can be very intimidating. If so it is because you will loose the power when punching. Wing Chun Kuen Man Real traditional martial arts training is difficult to find.....most dojos in the west are Mcdojos....some are better and some are worst....but they are what they are....do you train in one?
