Tang Soo Do Practioners?

Recommended Posts

Who are the Tang Soo Do practioners here?

List your rank and location.

After we get a few guys posted on here we can compare how our training is and what techniques, as far as il soo sik and ho sin sul go, even what weapons.

I am a 3rd Dan from southwestern Pennsylvania, USA, not far from Pittsburgh.

4th dan from ohio, now currently training in japan.

i will apologize now though, i know very little korean terminology, my instructors always spoke in english and gave the techniques an english name. But i am sure that we can understand each other.

My TSD school did:

Kicho 1-3

Pyung ahn 1-5

Bassai Sho-Dae

Naihanchi 1-3

Sip Soo

I don't remember much after that. We also did Bong hyungs (don't remember how many), and a knife form. I think they also did sword, sai, nunchuku .... I'm not positive on those, though.

Oh, almost forgot ... we were under that International Martial Arts Association under GM Ki Yun Yi.
