That doesn't work. The oft quoted numbers for amount of force needed to break a bone are based on static events. In reality, nothing is ever static.

There is a spot to incapacitate people and make them unconcious. Firstly, to get a feel for where it is, take yor pointer and middle fingers and place them on the side of your neck (doesn't matter which side) go about an inch and a half under your ear, and feel around until you get a pulse. This is a main artery that sends a blood supply to the brain.

Now for the strikign part. Take your pointer finger and cross it over your middle finger, now place your thumb on the bottom of these fingers for support, now if you ram these fingers into the spot you felt on your neck into that of another person, this will cut off the blood supply to their brain temporarily and make them pass out. I advice NOT to use this unless it is a true emergency, as this can also be deadly.

i guess you all forgot the weakest bone in the body The sternum! that bone right in the center, going up and down your chest. it only takes 30 pounds of pressure to snap like a twig, no matter how big you are because muscle can never cover it! the throat and eyes are just as good, and knees are next best

The solar plexus, which I believe is directly under the sternum, is a great place to strike; knocks the wind right out of you. You may even break the xyphoid process, a tiny bone right at the end of the sternum.

I love anatomy. :)

P.S. Sorry if someone has already mentioned this. I didn't bother to go through all the posts.

If someone else posted this, sorry. But the best place to hit your opponent is the place that they leave open.

Very true, take advantage of what is open for you to hit.

One place I always enjoyed kicking was the inner thigh,it hurts like hell and could get your opponent off balance.Destory the base, and the whole foundation crumbles.

Does anyone think that it is possible to break someone's leg if you kick him round in the front or rear of his knee area with your feet horizontally?

And whats better hitting someone on or under his chin(uppercut) and which one is safer to do cause i dont want a broken fist.

Everyday is a fight

With regards to your first question, GhostFighter, I think it would be possible to break the patella (knee cap) if done with enough force. What bone in particular do you mean, though? The femur (thigh bone), fibula or tibia (bones below the knee)?

As for the second question, I have a feeling that the uppercut would be a bit safer.

of course you can break their leg if you hit the knee hard enough. It takes only a couple of pounds to break a human bone.

And for your throwing problem....learn to punch right

If you bust a knuckle, then your punch is improper.
