I wouldn't rely on that...in a high adrenaline situation, it doesn't always hurt immediately. You may not feel it until after the fight. I've experienced that before.

i think the groin and knees are best spot to hit.

 

see above for my thoughts on groin shots. As for the knees, they are small and mobile - could be hard to hit and the proper angle to do real damage. I wouldn't rely on those either.

normally what i do in fights is try to distract the person..sumtimes i sidekick there leg...then once they concitrate on dat...boom a hook to the face

there is more than one best target, that is why we train with primary targets secondary targets ect.

A True Martial Arts Instructor is more of a guide than anything, on your way to developing the warrior within yourself!!!!!

I think its important to go for bigger targets. Coordination and seamless technique go down the drain in a real fight, plus the other guy will be moving.

I like a strong straight arm to the chin, not as a strike per say, but as a push.

 

Mind you this only really works if you can grab an arm or something, but if you can push there head back by their chin, there next and upper body are etremely open for whatever you want to do, beraks the balance. Also you can drop them to the ground fairly easily.
