how do you bring down someone bigger than yourself?

I hope you understand that this kind of fights can end up to death and jail , so you as a martial artist gotta control the damage. In your situation a weak winning or losing is better than win by knock out, you don’t wanna get shot the next week after your big KO.

 

1- never hit the neck hard ,specially back of the neck, in your case only hit the neck if he grabs you, you cam minimum the damage by using your palm instead of fist.

 

2- never hit the mouth you may damage your hand and his teeth.

 

3- never use a roundhouse kick in a fight unless your opponent is really tired

 

4- never forget the value of a low front snap kick

 

5- if you go down ,and he is on the top ,don’t be shy go ahead a use your teeth there is no rule on the street.

 

6- even if you know jujitsu don’t go into guard position in street fight somebody else may start kicking you.

 

7- if you survive the first 30 sec against a heavy guy with no training , you will win eventually. Although 6’2” and 90Kg is not fat. The key for you is keeping distance at the start you will gain confidence and he will gets tired and most of the times fights finish here and you can start cursing each other and claim victory.

 

8- never go back directly more than 2 steps ,you gotta move left or right same side of his oyi-zuki or his front leg.

 

9- Breath

 

10- even if you win don’t humiliate your opponent

I forgot to tell you

 

1- put military boot on, really helps if you use it.

 

2- in weather let you ,wear jacket ,zip all the way up and turn the collar back on your neck.

 

3- get a groin cup.

it is a small target that is well protected.

 

Good point...not to mention you have a larger chance of not even "thinking" about such a tactic.
