Menjo Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 even though hes larger the right type of grappling may work? "Time is what we want most, but what we use worst"William Penn
Sakura_Arashi Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 even though hes larger the right type of grappling may work? Getting close enough to grapple isn't possible. His fast hands will get me before I can. He uses a BOXER like style which means close combat is very hard. D; I need another solution. There is a force that exists in all of us. It takes one of true skill to release this force. Fight on.

Sakura_Arashi Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 hmm, i'm wondering if you saw my post. x_x; Sorry. It was on the last page.Thank you for your advice. I know how to generate the power, it's just getting it through his defense is what I'm having trouble with. Wouldn't a low kick be risky? He could rush if he saw it coming and then just over power me. The main thing is that my whole strategy for people my own size and strength is completely gone against him. I never thought about training for other situations and this is opening up my eyes to that. I just need to know great sure fire methods. Hitting those other vital points is a good idea but fear plays a role in this. Having been punched in the face by him I don't want to get close enough for that chance of getting hit. And other ideas or tips? There is a force that exists in all of us. It takes one of true skill to release this force. Fight on.

Do you want me to be all "He's not better than me at all -gets pummeled-"? There is a force that exists in all of us. It takes one of true skill to release this force. Fight on.
Menjo Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005 lol no, you must have known i didnt mean it like that... i meant sometimes it helps a little if you dont hold his skills above your head. Then maybe youll be able to offensivly get something done, just meant it as a little side note........just a type of mind set kinda thing "Time is what we want most, but what we use worst"William Penn

Menjo Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005 yea exactly thanks "Time is what we want most, but what we use worst"William Penn
White Warlock Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005 My first thought was that it seems everyone else wants you to fight, yet you don't. Does the other person want to fight? If neither of you two do, then get together, shake hands and stop putting on a show for the spectators that are egging you two on. If you two become close friends, you will have effectively disarmed the antagonists. From what you presented, i would say 'they' are the real opponents, not the football guy.
