sansoouser Posted August 29, 2004 Posted August 29, 2004 Masahiko Kimura, judo champion The amateur shoots his hands out ferociously, but lacks any true power. A master is not so flamboyant, but his touch is as heavy as a mountain.
kotegashiNeo Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 Kimura took grandfather was well unstoppable ask the gracies' Kisshu fushin oni te hotoke kokoro
47MartialMan Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 Royce Gracie was the ultimate in his day. Undefeated in the Octagon. I heard somwhere his brothers were better than him but he had the balls to step up into the UFC. UFC in not "Ultimate Fighting" They have rules. So anyone in UFC are limited
sansoouser Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 The oldest gracie Helio, fought no holds barred fights, no rules. But, from what i've heard people were dying or getting seriously injured so they put rules on it. Kimura and Oyama fought these to. The amateur shoots his hands out ferociously, but lacks any true power. A master is not so flamboyant, but his touch is as heavy as a mountain.

Look up some old Chinese masters. Check Master Pan.....etc...Shuai Jiao......etc....
Gilbert Posted September 21, 2004 Posted September 21, 2004 well i dont like to call him a fighter but someone i look up to and every day understand his way, is murihei ueshiba. Although nobody could touch that man, and that man could flip you with a single finger, he detested fighting. Even the most powerful human being has a limited sphere of strength. Draw him outside of that sphere and into your own, and his strength will dissipate.

opnek Posted October 7, 2004 Posted October 7, 2004 Mr. Edmund Kealoha Parker Senior, father of American Kenpo. Huge hero of mine. (His black belts used to beat on Bruce Lee all day long.) Don't believe everything u read In fact, Mr. Parker was the one that introduced Mr. Lee to hollywood, and started his film career (Green Hornet). Mr. Lee would seek the advice of Mr. Parker frequently. He also taught the Gracie's. You want to find a badass, find the one that trained the badasses Cheers.-There are no pure styles of karate. Purity comes only when pure knuckles meet pure flesh no matter who delivers or receives.-An ounce of logic can be worth more than a ton of tradition that has become obsolete through the weathering of time.
Jbone1 Posted October 7, 2004 Posted October 7, 2004 Ummm not too sure about that^^. Wasn't he one of Bruce's students also? Ed was great as was Mike Stone and Chuck back in those days. Bill Wallace great but only used his left leg. "What's your style?""My style?""You can call it the art of fighting without fighting."
