tufrthanu
Does anyone have a link to a site with an mpg that shows the forward shoulder roll, preferably with multiple views including from the front? Long Live the Fighters!
Spookey
Mr. Tuf, I am not certain as to exact content, but you might wish to visit judoinfo.com The site has anime of the techniques of Kodokan Judo. Falling is the first thing learned and in judo rolling is a form of falling! Best Luck! Spookey Do not defend against an attacker, but rather become the attacker...Destroy the enemy!TAEKWON! tommarker
Just remember the most important rule of the forward roll breakfall... TUCK YOUR HEAD! I'm no longer posting here. Adios.
Dijita
Forward shoulder rolls are so much fun I remember years ago when I was in Kuk Sool Won, I always had to do demos where I would sprint at about 10 adults crouched down then spring and super man over them and go into a shoulder roll. Knowing how to shoulder roll has prevented many mountain bike injuries.
tommarker
Dijita, Amen to that. I've used it once in what would have been a very nasty fall of my bike, and once after tripping. It was like I was on autopilot. I'm no longer posting here. Adios.
