Dragon Warrior Posted December 1, 2001 Posted December 1, 2001 Does anyone like to read? If so, what is your fav. book. I just finished reading Fighting Spirit by Bruce Thomas. It was a biography of the greatest martial artist of all time, Bruce Lee. I also like The Catcher in the Rye, On the Road, and many others. The less effort, the faster and more powerful you will be ~ Bruce Lee

Zaknafein Posted December 1, 2001 Posted December 1, 2001 I love to read. My favorite type of books are fantasy, and my alltime favorite book is.....'Homeland' by R.A Salvatore. If you like to read about insanely skilled fighters, then this , and others of the series, are the books for you!! The main character - Drizzt Do'Urden - is sooo good, he would OWN Bruce Lee. The fighting is all well and good, but what I really love about these books is how the main characters develop throughout the story. If you are interested, then go to the authors official site at this URL: http://www.rasalvatore.com/ Another interesting read (only start on these books if you have a decent amount of time..trust me) is the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan. Awesome story, amazing writing, but reeeeaaaaaally long. He STILL is a few books away from finishing off the story (already has 9 big books released, 10th comming sometime next year). -Zak, with his head in the books Feel the 'Putt Jattan De' power!!*Truth is highest, but Truthful living is higher still*
Zaknafein Posted December 1, 2001 Posted December 1, 2001 Oh yeah, forgot the URL for the Wheel of Time series, if anyone is interested. Here it is: http://www.wotmania.com -Zak, who talks too much sometimes Feel the 'Putt Jattan De' power!!*Truth is highest, but Truthful living is higher still*
Dragon Warrior Posted December 1, 2001 Author Posted December 1, 2001 No one would OWN Bruce Lee. He is most definitely a fictional character to have a chance of beating Bruce Lee LOL. The less effort, the faster and more powerful you will be ~ Bruce Lee
Jiggy9 Posted December 1, 2001 Posted December 1, 2001 I love reading - just i dont read too much fiction. Shotokan Karate Black Belt ==Defend the path of Truth==

SaiFightsMS Posted December 1, 2001 Posted December 1, 2001 One of my first loves is reading. I use to set records in grade school for how much I read. I wasn on a Tom Clancy binge and was reading the Cardinal of the Kremlin on 9-11 and didn't have the heart to finish it. I love Stephen King, Dean Koontz and Ann Rice. I really enjoy books depicting the good vs evil struggle. One of the most interesting martial arts books I have read is the Mark Bishob Kobudo book.
