My name is Mark. I am from NH. Ever since reading about Bruce Lee, I have been really interested in Martial Arts. I have no experience but would like to know more about it and maybe one day I will take lessons. I go to college right now so I really can't take lessons anywhere. If you want to talk about Bruce Lee or anything else, my AIM name is BonJovi999.

Hello and welcome.

It might be an interesting note that Bruce Lee started teaching while in college. Some colleges even offer martial arts courses for credit.

Yeah, you are exactly right. Next semester, I am going to try to get in Fencing (not really Martial Arts, but helps you with balance, speed and coordination), and T'ai Chi Ch'uan. Bruce Lee also studied Philosophy in college, he never got a degree, but he was very intelligent with it. Do you know of any other sports that would prepare you for Martial Arts?

I live in Pelham, NH (about 15 minutes from Nashua), and I go to school in Plymouth, NH. Patrick, did you live near the Pheasant Lane Mall?

The last place I lived up there was at the Bluestone Drive Townhouses. Its right in that vicinity, like a mile away from the mall or something. Its right in the middle.

We left when that place was really getting to be a mess. I can imagine it is quite a bit busier and more expensive in that town now.

dragon warrior,

I came to Martial Arts via, archery....fencing... and finally Tae Kwon Do.

While in fencing, I was told to take aerobics to get my feet and hands doing different things..it helps with the timing and coordination.

If you think you can't, then you must. If you must, you will.

Wecome to the board. I didn't have a chance to start training until after college either. Hang in there, and find what's right for you.
