I am not a belt, I am a human being!

Recommended Posts

I do not care what color belt I am. In the old days japanese masters only had two belts. White for the student and black for the master. That is the way that it should be. I believe the ranking system was created to keep people interested.

I am no means a master but I know what I can and can't do. Im happy with that. My rank does not have any bearing on how I do my martial arts. I always give it my all. Weather doing kata or sparring or teaching I do what I can to make a difference for others and myself.

I believe that rank matters way to much in America. An american black belt often times isnt worth **** (no offense to those who actually worked hard and deserve there black belt. You know who you are)
