Hello am going Holiday in thailand North east, am planning to go to a muay thai gym for about 4 weeks, am thai of course swadee p, tok tok khune.

Would you guys help me on trainning in muay thai, I have no experinecd in muay thai. Am very good at karate ad my kicking power and techniques are very good, I would say if I kicked through two base ball bats I would broke them with my shins.

I need help to fully get advatage on four weeks trainning, aslo they practice boran muay thai.

Am in so many forum asking the same questions.

1 months trainning very hard is that enough to help?

I am a karate master, the way of balance, and the way of invisibility.

What are you trying to get from it? One month will tidy up your technique but if you do Karate it will completely clash with it.

Dont bother with Boran until you got the basics.

1 month will help. Most people train about 4 hours a week in what they do. MT trains 6 hours a day , 6 days a week.

To get the maximum benefit you need to be fit.

If you are only there for a month you need to be fit to get the most from it.

Here is the training program from lanna Muay thai.

Morning

0600-Warm up/Stretch

0610-10 km. Run

0710-Drills (Knees, Kicks Teeps and Punches on the bag)

0800-Bag Work (4 to 5 rounds)

a couple of months ago there was an influx of karate guys (of which style they couldn't quite say), all at 7th kyu/green belt or about to test for it or something, all from thailand and all living in uk (but he couldn't decide what area...) and they all shared the same spelling errors and grammatical errors.

whats their motivation, i thought it ooked a little odd. I cant see why someone doing Karate would go and train in thailand for a month and then go back to Karate. What a way to mess up your form.
