Anyone else on here like Harry Potter?

I went to see Prixoner of Azkaban earlier this evening - it was great.

Even better than the first two films, IMO.

I like Harry Potter, but you guys got a head start on us here in the states. The movie doesn't come out until the 4th of June I believe. I'm looking forward to seeing it however. :)

oh god...

i have an unnatural hatred towards the harry potter books.

i'm not saying that they're bad things, just that i think they're a bit undeserving of the praise heaped upon them.

I woudn't call it unnatural. I think anyone who normally reads would feel that sort of inclination.

I'm reading a book about a DAnish guy who tries to drink himself to death, so I thought I'd get into character

Not yet but I cant wait :)

First two were good but the new one looks much darker and more sinister with the new director making his mark.

I dunno...I've always read a lot (and not just kiddy books, some really classic stuff), and I still love the books. I think it has more to do with personal tastes.

I was a little disappointed with the first movie...the second was better, I'm hoping the third will be great. I'm thinking of seeing it this weekend as a little "I made it through finals!" celebration :)

I enjoyed the books, but wasn't overly impressed with the first movie. Haven't seen the others yet, I'll probably rent the 2nd soon to catch up. I'm not a huge fan of Harry Potter, but its light-hearted entertainment, and the soundtrack is good! But I admit I did get a little scared when everbody at college started wearing Hogwarts scarfs all the time!

i guess what bugs me is that just because tens of millions of kids buy them doesn't mean it is a good thing.
