Drunken Monkey Posted May 26, 2004 Posted May 26, 2004 y'know, in my grandma's place in hk, the little house in the village, in the gardan is a banana tree. when i was there earlier this year, we cut down a massive bunch of bananas. must've been about 5-8kg of bananas. it leaked this horribly sticky sap everywhere that refuses to be washed out. i have to say we looked a bit odd walking down the 'big road' in yuen long with the bananas... post count is directly related to how much free time you have, not how intelligent you are."When you have to kill a man it costs nothing to be polite."

Drunken Monkey Posted May 26, 2004 Posted May 26, 2004 not sure. we went to visit the village and stuff, then one of my aunts mentioned the banana tree, then someone said 'let's cut down some bananas'.... post count is directly related to how much free time you have, not how intelligent you are."When you have to kill a man it costs nothing to be polite."
Mart Posted May 26, 2004 Posted May 26, 2004 you should have cut the tree down, then hey presto no more bananas, then you never have to cut them down again. Seize the day!

aes Posted May 26, 2004 Posted May 26, 2004 Our head Sensei is called Kyoshi (8th Dan). Our second top instructor is called Sihan (4th Dan). All others are referred to as Sensei. I address the top Sensei's by their titles in and out of the dojo as a sign of respect. Kyoshi has a Doctorate in Martial Arts from Japan so I guess I could call him Dr too 43 Years oldBlue Belt (7th Kyu) Shorin-ryuRoberts Karate
