DLopez
Am I correct in saying, you have done Kuk Sool for only two years, and are a black belt now? No no no!! I'm black belt candidate, or black-brown belt. From now on, all my testing will be for black belt. How fast I get there all depends on how well my instructor feels I've learned ALL the material. I've been training 5 days a week since January after joining black belt club back then. BTW - my instructor has already confided in me that indeed, my son and I did pass. WOOT!! I'm assuming you did all the hyungs 4x each? Funny, in my previous stripe test before this one, we did each form 10 times each (up to dae geup hyung), but for some reason, this time we only did them twice each. We did them at the very end of testing, so maybe he'd seen enough to conclude the testing? I had already prepared myself to do them 10 times each again. SBN Doug
OH. MY. GAWD!! A common response for one's DBN test. However, I still almost spit out mu coffee when I scrolled down to it. Yes, as you said, it's harder to concentrate when you're that tired. And that's exactly why they do it. You'll be thankful as you start your BB testing over at headquarters. They sometimes last 3-4 hours, and you're jogging in place durring your "resting" periods. I remember one time I and two others were scheduled for a make-up BB test, because we had all be away. KJN Harmon made special arrangements for us. By the time he and the other BBs of the various schools started showing up for their training at headquarters, I had been testing for about 3 hours ALONE! He was none too pleased that the others didn't show, and congradulated me for being able to handle the extra challenge. Congratulations. Kuk Sool Won - 4th danEvil triumphs when good men do nothing.
