Guest Posted May 25, 2004 Share Posted May 25, 2004 Matsumura Seito lineage extends from the late Hohan Soken, a decendant of Sokon Matsumura. My understanding of Matsumura Seito has the lineage something like this: Sokon (Bushi) Matsumura Nabe Matsumura Hohan Soken After Hohan Soken, there are two major players that I am aware of: Yuichi Kuda (Matsumura Kenpo) Fusei Kise I'm not much of an authority of Matsumura Seito Shorin-ryu, as my dojo doesn't even claim to teach it anymore. Shorin-Ryu Sensei should be able to tell us both a lot more about it. I really want to train Matsumura Seito, but there really isn't a dojo in my area that can claim that they teach it the way it is supposed to be done.
