bigtymer Posted July 15, 2004 Posted July 15, 2004 If you’re looking for a style that will teach you how to kick butt without the other extra stuff thrown in then Kenpo is what you need. Don't get me wrong they have forms but the forms incorporate the techniques that you learn in class. You'll never see a real big front-stance or stuff like that. It is more street savvy than old school traditional. I've been TKD for 20 some odd years and have learned more self-defense stuff in Kenpo in the last 2 years then TKD.
