G Money Slick Posted May 17, 2004 Posted May 17, 2004 Yes I heard the fact that Will Smith has a black belt. Weird right? If your enemy refuses to be humbled......you must destroy him.
aefibird Posted May 17, 2004 Posted May 17, 2004 In which style is he a black belt? Where did you find that out? "Was it really worth it? Only time and death may ever tell..." The Beautiful South - The Rose of My CologneSheffield Steelers!
TheDevilAside Posted May 17, 2004 Posted May 17, 2004 the degree of black belt in a martial art is a prequesite for being an MIB Agent. "If you're going through hell, keep going." - Sir Winston Churchill
tommarker Posted May 17, 2004 Posted May 17, 2004 why is it weird? he's a pretty athletic looking guy, so it wouldn't surprise me. I'm no longer posting here. Adios.
Sho-ju Posted May 18, 2004 Posted May 18, 2004 Elvis too, ya right. How real is the black belt? Who did he train with, what style?
cathal Posted May 18, 2004 Posted May 18, 2004 I poked around and found a Kajukenbo site with a Junior Instructor named Will Smith but there were no pictures, so can't be sure if its the same man. .The best victory is when the opponent surrendersof its own accord before there are any actualhostilities...It is best to win without fighting.- Sun-tzu
Karateka Posted May 18, 2004 Posted May 18, 2004 Will Smith is a pretty common name "Never hit a man while he's down; kick him, its easier"Sensei Ron Bagley (My Sensei)

hobz Posted May 18, 2004 Posted May 18, 2004 Just cause hes famous means he can't earn a black belt? Ill believe it till I hear otherwise. Thats cool. Rule #1: Play the game to the limit. Damn the consequences.
shotochem Posted May 18, 2004 Posted May 18, 2004 I find it quite believable. He young, in good shape, he has lots of $$$$$ to afford top quality private lessons and most importantly a personal trainer and plenty of free time between projects. Pain is only temporary, the memory of that pain lasts a lifetime.
