Would you care to back that statement up? How was that post nonsense? I'm just offering my viewpoint and explaining where it's coming from.

thaiboxerken thinks only science can prove anything.

This is false, science cannot determine what I'm thinking, for example. At least, not yet. As of now, what I'm thinking is untestable. However, the claims made by Ki/Chi people can be tested. Some Ki guys claim to be able to extinguish candles by thought alone, for example.

Science can only make determinations from the information that it has already "proven" to itself.

This is also false. Science makes determinations from testing, it doesn't matter what it has already "proven" to itself. If science only built upon it's own knowledge, quantum physics wouldn't even be researched. No, science is interested in results.

According to science, physics in particular, any movement at all is impossible.

I think this is just an outright lie. Care to site any science sources to back up your claim here?

I also happen to believe that science with a closed mind is not science at all.

I agree.

If we all went around thinking things this way then nothing new would ever be discovered.

This is true as well.

Some people like to camouflage a closed mind as a logical, scientific mind. However, it's mostly these individuals simply fooling themselves.

I'm open to evidence. Have any? Science can't test your claims unless you actually cooperate.

thaiboxerken,

Although I agree with you on the Ki/Chi subject, I cannot call someone's post-nonsense.

Yes, up until now, most of what I had reserached and experienced on KI/Chi, has come to me as trickery or subject of belief.

It is like a Atheist and a Christian in a debate of the existance of Christ or God. Each have their beliefs and are "ENTITLED" to their opinion of such belief.

So, for now, I will not dismiss the "possibility" of Ki/Chi (or God-I can go on a "rant" in theology).

My "book on either is not closed"

So for the sake of etiquette, please do not state that someone's post is nonsense. You may state, that their post "makes no sense to you", or that you "disagree" with their post.

I am not trying to "rag" you. Just a little "friendly" note.

Nonsense is nonsense, I'm not worried about being PC about it.

It is not being PC.

It is not causing hardship and anger.

It is remaining friendly before extra heat develops.

When people assign strawmen to me, I'll say that such strawmen arguments are nonsense.

When someone is smug with a comment like

My last post was ignored .... But, I thought it might be.

I'll call it nonsense.

I highly doubt that Sasori is really offended all that much anyway.

What to you mean?

How can this be nonsense, re-reading this could be interpreted in many ways. (Esp-looking at the prvious posts) Only the author could further elaborate the meaning

How can you tell?

He assigned a position to me that I did not state or imply.

How can this be nonsense, re-reading this could be interpreted in many ways.

The wink at the end gives it away.

How can you tell?

I guess I can't, but then again.. I really don't care. If he's offended, then it's his own fault for taking it as an offense.

Nonsense means.. makes no sense. It's hardly an insult.
