whitedragond Posted July 21, 2004 Posted July 21, 2004 Agreed. If you are really interested in one specific training, I'd try to find a school that teaches what you are looking for. If they teach one aspect each week, you aren't going to be happy if you only get to learn 1 out of 4 weeks of the month what you are most interested in.
P.A.L Posted July 22, 2004 Posted July 22, 2004 forget it, it's a day care for adults or another McDojo. "students", "bored!!!!!", "shotokan","ground combat","MT","sensei" under one roof we call it "dojo", NO WAY. one more thing, I think for practitioner with less than one year exp. sensei is more important than style.if you plan to live there for a long time then find a real good and traditional sensei even if you have to drive a long way(I hope you got a car). one last thing before I zip my lip, these bored students happen to explain people that the other name for kick boxing is "peanut(Pinan) Nisan(Nidan)".
